Pain Relief and Long-Term Wellness Care in Fort Worth
Ongoing, proactive chiropractic care designed to help you maintain progress, support mobility, and stay ahead of recurring stiffness.
Serving Fort Worth and surrounding communities.
Proactive Care That Helps You Stay Well
Wellness care is ongoing, proactive chiropractic care for people who are not in acute pain or who have finished an initial care plan. Dr. Jalen Ferguson, D.C. uses it to help you maintain the progress you have already made and support how you move day to day.
Instead of waiting for discomfort to return, wellness care is designed to keep you moving well, recover between activities, and catch small restrictions before they become bigger problems.
Who It’s For
Wellness care is designed for anyone who wants to stay ahead of discomfort and keep moving well, not just people in pain.

What a Wellness Visit Includes
Each wellness visit is personalized based on how you are moving and what you need that day, and may include the following.
- A movement check to see how you are moving and where restrictions may be building
- A chiropractic adjustment when appropriate, based on what the movement check shows
- Soft tissue work to help release tension in areas that feel tight or overworked
- Mobility recommendations you can use between visits to support how you move
How Often Should You Come In?
There is no fixed schedule for wellness care. How often you come in is set per patient after your evaluation, based on your goals, activity level, and how your body responds.
Dr. Ferguson will recommend a frequency that makes sense for you and adjust it over time as your needs change. Some people benefit from more frequent visits early on, while others do well with occasional check-ins.
Pain Relief vs. Wellness Care
Both types of care are personalized, but they have different goals, frequencies, and starting points.
Wellness Care FAQ
Common questions about wellness care at Alpha Performance & Wellness.
Can I see a chiropractor if I’m not in pain?
Yes, you can see a chiropractor when you are not in pain. Wellness care is designed exactly for this, helping you maintain mobility, support how you move, and stay ahead of recurring stiffness before it becomes a bigger issue.
How is wellness care different from my first visits?
Your first visits focus on evaluating a concern and building an initial care plan, while wellness care is ongoing and proactive. Wellness visits help you maintain the progress you have already made rather than starting from a new problem.
Do I need a new patient appointment first?
Yes, if you are new to the office you will start with a new patient appointment so Dr. Ferguson can understand your history and goals. You can learn more and book that first visit on our new patients page.
What does a wellness visit cost?
Wellness visit pricing is confirmed when you schedule your visit, since your care is built around your individual plan. You can view current pricing and appointment lengths on our Services page, or call us at (817) 943-9999 and we will help you choose the right visit.
